Description

As the saying goes, “Things don’t happen by chance. They happen by change.”

Borders died a natural death because of Amazon. Major hotel marques are not building new hotels because of Airbnb. Grab and Uber provide you with a personal chauffeur. You do not write diaries these days but you facebook it. Google makes encyclopedias antique. Budget airlines allow you to travel inexpensively. Covid-19 and Russian invasion of Ukraine are black swan events. Welcome to the world of change.

Change management prepares and equips you to initiate and sustain change so that you can drive new organizational direction and objectives.

Change is the new constant uttered commonly in any organization. Ideas, techniques and technology change constantly in the disruptive era. Many tried to effect changes but failed. They blamed their initiatives’ failures because they did not focus on change itself.

The complexity, variety and interconnectedness of the underlying factors make it impossible to anticipate exactly how emerging trends will evolve. If professional accountants are to thrive and add value in the future, they will need to develop the skills and competencies that economies and organisations demand. Those in and around the accountancy profession must plan for the expected, the unexpected, the predictable and the unpredictable. In this practical one-day interactive workshop, you will appreciate both individual and organizational changes, and how you can manage changes to thrive in these turbulent times.
