In this webinar we explore what causes and sustains stress in the workplace as well as its far-reaching impact on effectiveness at work and our overall wellbeing. Deb Assheton will discuss specific tips, skills and practices for managers and individuals to better manage stress and avoid burnout.
In this session we will:
- chart the scientifically established stages of ‘burnout’ and the corresponding behaviours that individuals experience.
- explore what resilience is and its role in alleviating stress and burnout.
For individuals this session will enable a solid and deep reflection on the causes of stress in their lives, as well as ways to counteract that stress.
For leaders this session will assist in understanding who in your team may be experiencing stress and be at risk of burnout, as well as steps that can be taken to reduce these states. Empirically validated practices, tips and tools to lower stress and burnout will be discussed and circulated as part of the supporting materials.
