Description
This is a one-day workshop covering two distinct and topical FRS topics: 2023 Annual FRS Update in the morning (AM) and Accounting for Deferred Taxation: FRS 12/SFRS(I) 1-12 Income Taxes in the afternoon (PM).
This practical workshop will reinforce your understanding of key FRSs by illustrating with multiple working examples, the provisions of the major new/revised Financial Reporting Standards issued by the Accounting Standards Council and other pronouncements effective for the years 2020 to 2024 (except FRS 117 Insurance Contracts). This also includes the compliance requirements and major provisions of one of the challenging financial reporting standards to implement, accounting for deferred taxation: FRS 12/SFRS(I) 1-12.
