Description

Nearly a decade ago, the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development started its work on a range of action plans referred to as the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (“BEPS”) Action Plans. Arising from one of these Action Plans is the Pillar 2 solution to address the tax challenges arising from digitalisation and globalisation.

Pillar 2 focuses specifically on addressing any tax optimisation strategies by introducing a global minimum tax regime, known as the Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) proposal. This proposal aims to ensure that multinationals pay a minimum level of tax regardless of where they operate or where their profits are booked.

Join us for an insightful webinar as we delve into the dynamics of Pillar 2 strategies and how Pillar 2 will be implemented in Southeast Asia. The audience will also have an opportunity for live Q&A with our presenters.

What you will learn

Following this webinar, participants will be able to understand:

  • The key elements of Pillar 2
  • The Adoption of Pillar 2 across key Southeast Asian markets
  • How to be prepared for the implementation of Pillar 2.

We will also include a special 30-min content and technology showcase featuring Wolters Kluwer's comprehensive research on Asia tax planning and compliance, along with crucial BEPS updates available in CCH iKnowConnect. Get insights into our newest technology solution, CCH Integrator, designed for BEPS Pillar Two compliance and reporting.
