This workshop is designed specifically for accountants and auditors who will like to have a comprehensive overview of the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
The FRSs issued by the Accounting Standards Council (ASC) that are effective in 2019-2020 will be discussed.
The major provisions of each FRS will be also be highlighted and illustrated.

Programme Outline
- All the FRS (FRS 1 to FRS 41, and FRS 101 to FRS 116) issued by ASC and operative in 2019 and 2020.
- In Day I, the following FRSs will be covered:
- 1, 7, 34
- 103, 110, 111, 112, 27, 28
- 2, 16, 40, 32, 107, 109, 36, 38
- In Day II, the following FRSs will be covered:
- 12, 115, 33
- 8, 10, 19, 20, 23, 24, 29, 37
- 116, 21, 41
- 101 to 114
Expert Speaker
Professor Ng Eng Juan graduated with B. Ec (first class honours) from Universiti Malaya, and MBA from University of Southern California. He is a fellow of ISCA and a member of MICPA with several years of working experience in an international public accounting firm. Prof Ng was with the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, teaching Financial Accounting subjects in the B Acc and MBA programmes. Over the years, he had won several teaching awards. He also conducts regular continuing professional education programmes for delegates from China, Malaysia and Singapore. Prof Ng has written several publications including “Singapore GAAP”, “Derivatives and Hedge Accounting” and “Practical Guide to Financial Reporting Standards Singapore”, which are published by CCH Asia. He is currently with the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
